Gloucester County establishing courthouse plan steering committee

Representatives for the Courthouse Village Plan Steering Committee are now being sought by the County of Gloucester.

The committee will include people from all walks of life with a goal of shaping Main Street. Business and property owners in addition to area residents are welcome to volunteer for the steering committee. Individuals from community organizations are also expected to have input as well as those from the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission, the Gloucester Economic Development Authority and the Main Street Preservation Trust.

Meetings of the steering committee will take place as required through January 2014.

Volunteer forms are available at www.gloucesterva.info, by selecting "Boards/Committees" from the drop-down menu, with the deadline for submission being Monday, Dec. 19.
