Peninsula area high school bowling league scores, Jan. 3
Bowlers from the Peninsula High School League Scratch Division headed to AMF York Lanes on Jan. 3 for its latest meet.
The league has students from Bethal, Hampton, Woodside, Denbigh, Menchville, York, Tabb, Gloucester, and Grafton competing.
During the contest, those who shot a 200 or better included Alec Manriquez with scores of 269, 238 and 204; Ben Cash with scores of 255, 248, 225 and 207; Brandon Franklin with scores of 245 and 225; Nolan Judkins with a score of 243; David Gleaton with scores of 235, 233 and 208; Robert White with a 225; Dylan Franklin with a 215; Jason Stoudt with a 211; Zach Stepp with a 210; Jared Wenner with a 209; and Patrick Spitz with a 206.
Those who achieved a 550 series or better were Cash at 687; Gleaton at 676; Brandon Franklin at 644; Manriquez at 617; Judkins at 598; Dylan Franklin at 563; Stepp at 563; Wenner at 560; Spitz at 560; and Stoudt at 551.
In the Peninsula HS League Club Division, J. Shine shot a 201.
