Mathews Art Group displays the art of Miniature Art Show winners
The Mathews Art Group is displaying 48 works of art, including painting, drawing, mixed media collage, wood carving and more, as part of the Miniature Art Show.
The pieces were judged by Mary Jane Newbill on March 12. Winners for fine art are Emma Lou Martin in first, Michael Martin in second and Gib Pulley in third. Winners for fine craft are Linda Walker in first, Rita D'Amico in second and Martha Hayes in third. Sean Fletcher and Katelyn Matthews both received Budding Artist Awards.
The gallery, at 206 Main St. in Mathews, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays.
