MGM Tri-County Gospel Choir to perform June 23 at Gloucester Arts on Main
The 40-member MGM Tri-County Choir will perform “Living in the Spirit,” a gospel and faith music program, from 4-5:30 p.m. June 23 at Gloucester Arts on Main, 6580-B Main St., Gloucester.
Founder and choir director, John Ellis Smith will be present on piano, along with local pastor Elton Pryor on bass guitar and Andre Billups on drums.
The choir which holds members from 20 churches in the tri-county area will be led by president George Robinson. Proceeds will benefit the Corarine Marsh Smith Scholarship Fund and Gloucester Arts on Main.
Local restaurant Olivia’s will offer food and fellowship after the performance. Any ticket holder will receive a 10 percent discount on lunch or dinner on the day of the event.
