Gloucester Arts on Main to host Have A Heart art show
Gloucester Arts on Main will host the Have A Heart art show through June.
The art show will feature art and craft created and donated by artists and members of the community. Donated items will be available for silent auction through June 30.
The show is inspired by Holly Jackson, an 18-year-old who has been struggling with a heart condition that has not yet been cured.
The event is being held to benefit the American Heart Association. Fifteen percent of the winning bids will go to the arts center. Artists will receive the rest of the money, which they can decide to donate to the group.
Submissions for art are closed.
A reception will be held from noon to 6 p.m. July 6, when winning bids will receive their prizes. The reception will take place at Gloucester Arts on Main, 6580-B Main St., Gloucester.
