Gloucester County Library receives grant in support of summer reading program
The Gloucester County Library received at $3,000 grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, it was announced Monday, June 4.
The grant will support the library's summer reading program for middle school students.
"We are using the Dollar General Grant money to encourage the middle school students here in Gloucester County to read this summer. We are purchasing multiple copies of the books they are required to read during the summer months," the library staff said in a press release.
The program started Friday, June 1, and will run through the end of July.
The library is located at 6920 Main St., Gloucester.
