Al's Caring Pals summer day camp opens registration

Al's Caring Pals summer day camp will be held from 9:30-11:45 a.m. June 11 to June 15 and Aug. 20 to Aug. 24 at the Whitcomb Lodge at Beaverdam Park, 8687 Roaring Springs Road, Hayes.

The registration fee for children entering kindergarten this fall in Mathews, Middlesex and Gloucester counties is $40. Snacks will be provided.

The camp will teach children to manage their feelings, get along with others, use self-control, accept differences, resolve conflict peacefully, make healthy choices and learn coping skills while doing fun activities in a safe environment. Parents will receive daily information on how to continue helping their children with these skills at home.
