Anonymous donor to match up to $10,000 in donations to arts center
A local community arts program has an opportunity to double the value of money it receives.
An anonymous donor will match up to $10,000 in donations made to the endowment fund of the Bay School Community Arts Center, 279 Main St., Mathews. The fund was established last year through the Mathews Community Foundation.
The non-profit arts organization provides about 130 classes and other programs to the public each year. The group's efforts include 12 outreach programs to bring art education to the elderly, youth and special-needs adults.
To participate in the challenge and make a donation, call 804-725-1278.
