Gloucester Arts on Main to host acrylics workshop

Gloucester Arts on Main will hold  acrylics workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, July 6 and Saturday, July 7.

Jane Slivka will be the instructor for the workshop. Slivka, who graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in art education, teaches workshops across the country. She has a gallery in Mount Dora, Fla. 

In the workshop, Slivka will encourage participants to explore forms of expression through acrylic painting.

Gloucester Arts on Main, open from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, is at 6580-B Main St. in Gloucester.
