Gloucester school board to discuss repurposing TC Walker School at July 10 meeting
The Gloucester County School Board's next meeting will be Tuesday, July 10.
The meeting will begin with a closed discussion to allow the board to discuss issues related to personnel and students, such as expulsions.
The meeting will then move to an open session. During the remainder of the meeting the board will discuss monthly personnel appointments, resignations, transfers and other items. The board will also seek approval of the consent agenda.
The board will move onto hearing from the community and giving recognition. It will recognize the FFA Team for placing first in the state competition. Citizens attending the meeting will also have the chance to address the board.
Budget and finance items that the board will discuss include the acceptance of grants and donations. The superintendent's items cover updates on Page Middle School and repurposing the TC Walker School. School board member items that the board will discuss include updates on committees, appointments to boards and commissions and scheduling a retreat.
The closed meeting will be at 5:45 p.m. with the open session following at 7 p.m. in Colonial Courthouse, Main Street Circle, Gloucester.
