Bay Schools of Arts displays works of Ellen Davidson
The work of Ellen Davidson will be on display at the Bay School Community Arts Center through July 31.
Davidson is a nature-photographer based in King William County. She spent 25 years as a pharmacist before focusing on photography. Many of her photos are natural images of the forests and their surrounding farmland near her home.
Davidson began her studio, Close to Nature Photography, in 2001.
The Bay School Community Arts Center is located at 279 Main St., Mathews.
The Bay School is a nonprofit company whose mission is to provide quality art education to all people, regardless of age or ability. The school provides approximately 130 classes per year to adults and children and 15-20 art outreach programs to underserved populations. The school is comprised of a gallery, art supply store, three classrooms (the gallery doubles as a classroom) and a small lending library of art books.
