Basic dog obedience class offered by kennel club
A basic dog obedience class, sponsored by Gloucester Kennel Club of Virginia, will begin at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9.
According to a press release from Gloucester Kennel Club of Virginia, the class is a six-week course and is open to pure and mixed-breed dogs. Commands taught will include heel, come, sit and stay. Owners should wear proper shoes and bring shot records for their dogs.
Cost is $70 for nonmembers and $35 for members. Registration can be completed in advance or on the first day of class.
The clases will be held at Gloucester Kennel Club of Virginia, 10360 Woods Cross Road, Gloucester.
