Gloucester Arts on Main recently hosted an all-day workshop which was taught by impressionist colorist Mark Hierholzer.
According to a Gloucester Arts on Main press release, "The workshop was attended by nine artists who found it very challenging as they were painting with Mark's weapon of choice — the pallet knife using oil paint. Though those who took the workshop were challenged to reproduce the curved and linier objects using their pallet knives and oil paint, they were excited by the creative possibilities they found they could produce, not only with their use of color but also by the visual texture they could create with the color."
Gloucester Arts on Main is at 6580-B Main St., Gloucester.
